We recently visited Hank’s Dirty on the beach in Felixstowe, located on Beach Street, a new shipping container complex.
Hank’s Dirty is known for its fast food deliciousness! They currently have over 23 items on their menu, from burgers, chickn’, and kebabs to dogz, there is definitely something for everyone.
When it comes to bigger towns they are already quite a few vegan restaurants and takeaways, so for Hank’s to be the first in Felixstowe is pretty amazing! I hope this big change in a small town will change people’s minds into thinking vegans don’t just eat “rabbit food”. (The burgers are so good they will fool any meat eater!)
What we got:
- Hunters Chickn’ Burger- “BBQ & bacon! Hank’s Louisiana chickn’ burger, 2 strips of bacon, onion ring, mozzarella cheese, BBQ sauce, lettuce & tomato on a brioche bun. Limited time only!”
- Bacon Double Cheeseburger- “ 2 juicy burger patties, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 slices of cheese, ketchup, mustard, gherkin and onion in a brioche roll. Limited time only!”
These burgers were both equally delicious, but for different reasons. The hunters chickn’ had more of a fresh taste to it, whereas the bacon double cheeseburger was more of a “dirty” burger. We ordered one portion of fried to share and we’re so glad we did as they are very generous with their portion sizes!
